/I am a native Milanese, raised on risotto and panettone, and as a licensed guide I am committed to making the time visitors spend in this city enjoyable and fascinating. My husband would tell you that I have found the perfect job, being such a chatty person (he is so serious and silent!). In fact, I like to think that I am a good storyteller, with a flair for words and stories that I developed during my parallel career as a journalist. In the white marble of Milan’s Cathedral I see the thousands of craftsmen and carvers who peopled its scaffolding in the late Thirteen-hundreds. In the charming church of San Maurizio I imagine the quiet lives of young beautiful nuns who could watch the world outside only through a tiny bronze window. There is nothing more I’d love to do than to share all such stories with you.
